Our New Website: Get a Delivery or Moving Quote in Minutes
Tanco Transport has a new website, and the main change is speed: you can now request a quote for construction delivery, moving, commercial delivery or junk removal in a couple of minutes, from your phone or computer. Fill in one short form, tell us what's moving and where, and we'll come back with a price.
What Can You Do on the New Website?
You can see every service we offer, check whether we cover your area, read our guides and request a quote, all in one place.
The old way of getting a price from a small trucking company usually meant phone tag. You'd call, describe the job, wait for a call back, then describe it again. The new site cuts most of that out. Here's what's on it:
- All four of our services, each on its own page with the details: construction delivery, moving, commercial delivery and junk removal
- A quote form that works the same way on the quote page and the contact page
- Pages for the cities and neighbourhoods we serve
- Practical guides on condo moves, material runs, junk removal and store pickups
- Our phone number, email and hours on every page
It's built to work well on a phone, since that's where most people are when they realize the couch won't fit in the car.
How Do You Request a Quote?
Open the quote form, fill in eight short fields and press Send Request.
The form asks for:
- Your name, phone and email, so we can reach you.
- The service: construction delivery, moving, commercial delivery or junk removal.
- Pickup and drop-off locations. An address or postal code is enough. For junk removal, the drop-off can be left as "disposal".
- Timing: ASAP, within a week, in 1–3 weeks or more than a month out.
- Job details: what we're moving or hauling, roughly how much of it, and anything about access.
If you came to the form from a service page, the service is already picked for you.
What Details Get You the Fastest, Most Accurate Price?
The job details box matters most: the more specific it is, the fewer follow-up questions we need to ask before we can price it.
| Job | Helpful details |
|---|---|
| Moving | Number of rooms, big pieces (sofas, dressers, appliances), stairs or elevators at each end |
| Construction delivery | Supplier, what's on the order, pallets or loose material, who receives it on site |
| Commercial delivery | Number of stops, pallet count, one-off or recurring |
| Junk removal | Rough volume, any appliances or mattresses, where it sits (basement, garage, backyard) |
| Store pickup | Store and order details, item sizes, building access at the drop-off |
Condo and apartment details save the most time. If your building needs an elevator booking or has set loading dock hours, put that in the details box. Our condo moving checklist covers what to ask your building.
What Happens After You Send a Request?
You'll get a text and an email confirming we have your request, and then we call you back during business hours.
Our hours are Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 8 PM. Sunday is closed. A request sent on Saturday night is in front of us first thing Monday.
On the call we'll confirm the details, ask about anything the form didn't cover, and give you a price. If the job is urgent, you don't have to wait for the form. Call us at (647) 992-5757.
What Are the New Resources Guides?
They're short, practical articles that answer the questions we hear most, so you can plan a job before you book it.
The first guides cover:
- Toronto condo moves: elevator bookings, building rules and a week-by-week plan
- Construction material delivery in the GTA: supplier pickups, job-site drops and recurring runs
- Getting ready for junk removal: sorting, access and what to tell your hauler
- Junk removal cost in Toronto: what sets the price and what the City takes for free
- Store pickup and delivery: IKEA, Home Depot, Costco and Marketplace items
You'll find them all on the Resources page, and we'll keep adding more.
Where Does Tanco Transport Work?
We serve Toronto and the GTA, with a page for each of our main areas.
Those are Toronto, North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan and Markham. Each page covers the local detail that affects a job there, from downtown condo docks to supplier yards in Vaughan. If your town isn't listed, send the request anyway and we'll tell you if we can do it. See all service areas.
Who Built the New Website?
The new site was designed and built by BuildSites, a website studio for local service businesses.
We wanted a site that answers the questions customers ask on the phone and makes it easy to send a job our way. Tell us what you think the next time you book.
